Religious Beliefs
In the Medieval Era, people considered God most important in their lives. Religion had a great influence on people and impacted the society because of the different events. The religious beliefs in Europe were mostly consisted around Christianity. It was believed by people that through praying to God and worshipping him he will sent you to heaven in afterlife. People also thought if they didn't believe in God they would be send to hell. The Medieval priests were considered more important than doctors because they thought that God was the only one able to cure people from diseases. The Medieval wealthy families and people were always known to go to heaven because they were able to afford to build chapels which showed that they deserved to go to heaven. When good things happened to people or society in the Medieval Era they had believed it to be God who had rewarded them for their good deeds. These are the beliefs that were believed by the people in the Medieval Era.
