Statistics on plague in Medieval Europe
In the Medieval Era, during the Black Death, half of the continents in the world had lost many people's lives, which was around 1328 -1351C.E. Europe had the most death's globally.The Black Death was in Europe throughout 1347 - 1351C.E. Europe had lost 30- 60% of its population which was estimated around 75- 200 million people who had lost their lives. Historians couldn't find the accurate total loss of population in Medieval era because sources were hard to find. This also meant that the plague killed 1/3 of Europe's population. It was estimated that at least every day over 7500 people died of the plague that was spread from the rats and fleas. The most deaths recorded in plague were in the years 1348 till 1350C.E. Most of the statistics are related to the losses of people in the Medieval Era.
